Is Your Family Currently Sleeping in a Vehicle?

HOPE South Florida’s Family Safe Parking Program is designed for families experiencing homelessness who are currently sleeping in their cars.

With shelters throughout Broward County often at capacity, Family Safe Parking provides families with a safer place to park and sleep overnight while they work toward greater stability.

Families participating in the program have access to:
  • A safe place to park overnight
  • A light meal
  • Access to our mobile shower unit
  • Connection to HOPE South Florida staff and available resources
How to Get Started
Families interested in the Family Safe Parking Program can apply directly to HOPE South Florida.

Complete the Family Safe Parking form below. Once submitted, a member of our team will reach out to you within 3–5 business days to discuss an initial assessment and next steps.

Completing the form does not guarantee enrollment in the program. Families must complete an initial assessment to determine eligibility and program fit.

A safe place to build toward lasting stability.

Homes of HOPE is a supportive housing program designed for single mothers with families of four or fewer who are experiencing housing instability.

Located in HOPE South Florida’s recently renovated parsonage, Homes of HOPE consists of four private tiny-home-style units, providing participating families with a safe and stable place to call home while they work toward greater independence and long-term housing stability.
Families enrolled in the program have the opportunity to work alongside HOPE South Florida’s team and connect with supportive resources based on their individual needs and goals.

Interested in Homes of HOPE?

Families who meet the program criteria may submit the Homes of HOPE Interest Form below to be considered for future openings.
Homes of HOPE utilizes an applicant pool rather than a traditional waitlist. Interest forms are kept on file and reviewed as vacancies become available. Because placement is based on program eligibility, family circumstances, and available units, submissions are not considered in the order they are received.
Please note: Submitting an interest form is not an application and does not guarantee housing, placement, or enrollment in Homes of HOPE or any other HOPE South Florida program.
Interested in being considered? Complete the form below to tell us about your family and housing needs.

Important Information About the Referral Process

Calling the Homeless Helpline is the first step in the process.

HOPE South Florida does not manage the County’s waitlist and does not have access to client information, waitlist status, or an individual’s position in the referral process.
Once HOPE South Florida receives a family’s referral, our team can contact the family directly, learn more about their situation, and discuss the services and assistance we may be able to provide.

If you have already contacted the Homeless Helpline and are waiting for assistance, HOPE South Florida is unable to provide updates on your waitlist status or expedite the County’s referral process.
